Wow, it would be amazing if someone integrated ownCloud with yacy. That seems like as much a winning match as WebODF + ownCloud. Distributed search would be the coup de grace of the googleverse.

Hi,

Is there any way to get the user ID instead of USERNAME from the context? In my DB I have User table with USERNAME and ID fields. All other tables are linked with ID thus it would be great if I can get the user ID from the context. I use jaasRealm in Glassfish with j_security_check.

Currently I'm authenticating with USERNAME and PASSWORD, when I call request.getUserPrincipal().getName() I get USERNAME.

I followed the above steps and was able to partition my sd card. However i cannot copy any new files to the FAT32 partition of SD Card it gives me disk full error even though it has more than 90% free space. Let me know how to solve the issue

A good guide. Thanks for that. I am not sure if SWAP partition on the SD would be a good idea. Even the fastest available MicroSDs' (Class 10) speed is around 25MB/s. Having may open applications might be too slooow. We will also lose the possibility to Hot-Swap or umount SD card. But it is really worth trying. It appears that there are few Apps to enable it. I am not going to mention them since I did not test them personally.

Regarding having EXT4 at the beginning and FAT at the end, I do not think that it should be a problem.

I am using apache CXF for JAX-RS and hosting in tomcat as a war file.
How to specify 'user role so that I can authenticate the user in my business logic in server side?I am not using glass fish.I don't have 'sun-web.xml'....what shall i do?..can u give me a simple example for this?'

For Linux old bones:
You can use Parted/Gparted on Ubuuntu to manage partitions on the SD card in your phone. Just hook it up via USB, do unmount, start Parted.
Now the old geeks should feel good.
The next thing for me is to copy/link /data (or parts of it) to sdcard.

Nice and simple example Jorn. A question regarding further authorization checks:

}What would be really nice is to lift the check for whether it is the OWNER of the rating is indeed the one performing DELETE or the ADMINISTRATOR, outside the method. I see that as a part of authorization that is not solved entirely by @rolesallowed annotation. I was thinking something along lines of another Annotation that could take the SecurityContext and perform some user defined check and return 403, if necessary. That would keep the business logic separate from all Authorization checks. Any suggestions on how to accomplish that?

Any news in your Evolution + CalDav server experiments? I tried Evolution (2.10.1) in Ubuntu (7.04) myself to collaborate with the Bedework server. It failed: Evolution crashed when changing to the calendar view after I added a CalDav calendar wit URL to my Bedework server.

I also tried Cosmo but that failed, too: Evolution just displayed nothing although I entered some test events in Cosmo's webinterface and pointed Evolution to the corresponding CalDav URL.

In Cosmo's Bugzilla I found https://bugzilla.osafoundat...

In Evolution's Bugzilla there seems to be just _three_ (3!) bugs for the CalDav plugin which seems to reflect the bad state of that component correctly :-(. http://bugzilla.gnome.org/b...
